We’re often asked if we have any financing available for the harps. We do indeed!* We’ve worked with Allegro Credit for many years. They specialize in musical instrument loans, and work with Steinway, Yamaha, etc. They are great to work with, and you can complete the entire loan process online (application, notification, etc.)–making it a relatively easy process. The process starts with a pre-qualification application. Once you’re approved, we’ll send you an email with a link to the contract for you to complete. Lastly, both you and we will sign the final contract. That’s it!
When using the financing package, we still need at least $2,000 as a down payment. You’re welcome to pay more, either at the time of the order or as we approach starting your harp. So you can use the financing to pay for as little or as much of your harp as you like, down to the $2,000 down. There’s no penalty for early payoff.
In terms of monthly payments, you can spread the loan out over 1, 2, or 3 years. The interest rate is about 9.5%, with 1 and 2 year terms being slightly less than 3 years. Let’s put some solid numbers to all this, though. Let’s say you bought a harp for a total sale price, including shipping, spare strings, etc, for $8,000, and put $2,000 down. Your monthly payments would be as follows;
- 1 Year – about $525 per month for 12 months
- 2 Years – about $275 per month for 24 months
- 3 Years – about $194 per month for 36 months
*Note that financing is only available within the United States.
